adidas and porsche design have collaborated on a new collection of footwear for the
spring / summer season of 2010, focusing on the theme of 'water / snow'.
the feature attraction of the collection is the AC bowman, tested and engineered in cooperation
with jochen shümann, 3-time olympic gold medalist and 2-time america's cup winner for sailing.
the low profile shoes, available in neutral tones and black, can be used for both inshore
and offshore racing, because of their fast-drying mesh upper and sticky rubber outsole wet deck
traction. the footwear also incorporates leather and mesh uppers with adiPRENE® technology.
