SlideBand is the leading online multimedia sharing venue. People, businesses, and organizations come to SlideBand.com to upload information and media in a variety of formats. Documents, videos, and images (up to 200 file types) can be used to create a user-friendly online presentation. SlideBands can also be transcribed into a Flash animated widget or advertisement for premium marketing campaigns promoting your business’s products and/or services. SlideBand is perfect for interacting with others anywhere in the world on your favorite subject via real-time chat. Users can easily assemble content-rich multimedia in organized concert with annotations and interactive features. SlideBand is a great way for artists, photographers, and videographers to showcase their work. Business professionals bring SlideBand into play for conferencing with coworkers, employees, or clients in an effective and convenient way. Students can use SlideBand for classroom presentations or online group meetings outside of class time. Creating slideshows, mashups, and personal presentations is really fun and easy. The SlideBand Viewer:
The SlideBand viewer enables users to interact with multimedia content in a variety of ways. Users can join a chat about the SlideBand they are viewing, adjust the volume of sound files, magnify the slide being currently viewed (to its original size), scroll back and forth between slides by clicking on the side panels or correlating buttons, play the slideshow presentation and adjust interval speed (interval bar appears above the Play button on mouse rollover), read annotations, view a scrollable thumbnail strip of the entire SlideBand, browse complete files below the viewer with the “view document” function, and view the SlideBand in fullscreen.
Uploading a SlideBand:
Users can add URLs, embed videos, as well as upload images, videos, and documents (up to 200 file types) to create their own SlideBand. Bulk uploads can be done by selecting a folder or group of files after clicking on the “Choose Files” button. The Draw your Slide function allows users to create their own slides or add text and effects to existing slides using SlideBand’s simple digital image editor. Once slides have been created, they will be shown in the right column of the Upload page. Slides that appear in the right column can be placed in any order using the Drag and Drop function. Notes and embedded links can be added to slides once they have been created.
Uploading a SlideBand Widget/Ad:
The SlideBand widget is a miniature Flash-animated viewer. Creating a SlideBand widget/ad is a simple solution for bloggers, marketers, and advertisers. The SlideBand widget incorporates all of the functions of the SlideBand viewer except for chat. The SlideBand widget is free for users who do not require it to be white labeled. By purchasing a customized SlideBand widget/ad, users can upload their own banner and insert header text. The SlideBand widget can be embedded anywhere on the web and can also be implemented in rich media advertising campaigns. Ad serving companies that provide services for Flash media will be able to post the SlideBand widget to their networks. Links can be embedded in each slide as well as in the customized banner. SlideBand also provides comprehensive marketing and design services for enterprise clientele.
