1.How many slides can I upload into a SlideBand?
- There is no limit to the number of slides. Each SlideBand is limited to 100MB.
2.How many SlideBands can I save in my private account?
- You can save as many SlideBands as you wish but you only get 100 MB for free to save private SlideBands.
3.Where can I see the SlideBands I have created?
- Visit "MyAccount" and click on "My Slides"
4.Where can I change my account information?
- Log in to your account, visit "MyAccount", then click on "My Profile" or "Change Password"
5.If a SlideBand does not appear right away, what does it mean?
- Check your internet connection or try refreshing the browser. Also, be sure to update your Flash player.
6.I have embedded a video from YouTube. Why doesn't it play?
- Make sure the video is still hosted on YouTube.com. You may need to reinsert the embedded code into your SlideBand.
7.How do I know how many people are looking at a particular SlideBand?
- If the chat button is highlighted in orange, on mouse rollover the number of current viewers will be displayed.
8.Why can't I view a document below the viewer?
- Supported files for document browsing will be signified by the View Document button when it is highlighted in orange.
9.How long does it take to upload files to a SlideBand?
- It depends on the size of the file, but typically between a few seconds and a few minutes.
10.Why doesn't my uploaded file thumbnail appear on the right column of the upload page?
- Please check to make sure that the file is not corrupted. Sometimes you may have to reload the file.
11.What happens if I upload a URL and the screenshot does not appear?
- Please check that the URL is correct. If the URL is valid, please try reloading the URL.
12.What embedded codes can I include in slides?
- Currently, users can embed YouTube codes.
13.Does SlideBand provide any other marketing services?
- Yes, SlideBand can provide comprehensive marketing campaigns. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding our marketing services.
14.I am going to upload my first SlideBand, are there any do's and don'ts I should be aware of?
- Please refer to our Terms of Service.
15.How do I embed a SlideBand into my blog or website?
- Simply copy the embedded code from the User Info box to the right of the viewer and paste it into the HTML of your website or blog.
16.How do I bookmark a SlideBand as a favorite?
- Click on the heart icon below the viewer, and the SlideBand will be added to your account's favorites list.
17.How can I include a profile picture in my SlideBand account?
- Visit "My Account" and click on "My Profile" then upload an image from your computer.
18.Can I comment on a SlideBand?
- Yes, there is a section for comments below the viewer and description on each SlideBand page.
19.Can I download a file from a particular slide in a SlideBand?
- Yes, if the file type is supported for document browsing, the view document button will be highlighted in orange and you can open it below the viewer. Click on the diskette icon and save the file to your desktop.
20.I found some objectionable (or copyrighted) content on SlideBand. What should I do?
- Please flag the particular SlideBand by clicking on the Flag This link below the viewer on the right.
21.Can I place images or affiliate banner ads in a SlideBand description I have created?
- Yes. When uploading or editing your SlideBand, click on HTML mode in the Description box and you will be able to place affiliate banner ads and images directly into the description that appears below your SlideBand.
